Choral Sings for Simon!

Dermot Frost conducting Christmas carols with Choral in Dundrum Town Centre!

On Sunday 12 December, Choral took part in the Sing for Simon campaign in order to raise money for Dublin Simon Community. The afternoon was a tremendous success and saw a solid contingent of Choral stalwarts sing popular Christmas carols such as “Away in a Manger” and “Ring Christmas Bells” in Dundrum Town Centre, with the esteemed committee member Dermot Frost taking up the conducting duties. In total, €1,211.74 was raised during the afternoon. Many thanks to all that came along and we wish you all an enjoyable Christmas break!

Christmas Carols!

After taking a well deserved break of a fortnight, it’s time to warm up those vocal chords again for some Christmas carols! Yes, we have been doing Christmas music all term, but now we’re finally getting around to all the classics from “Away in a Manger” to “Silent Night”. Rehearsal will take place during our regular slot from 7pm on Wednesday in Regent House. This rehearsal is aimed at getting the choir in shape for carol singing in aid of Simon Community this Sunday in Dundrum Shopping Centre from 4pm. We are looking forward to seeing you there and helping this worthy cause.
