The time has finally arrived for Choral’s 2012 Christmas Carols performance in aid of the Simon Community. We will be performing between 1pm and 3pm at St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on Saturday 15th December. The carol selection will include favourites such as Joy to the World, Away in a Manger, Ring Christmas Bells and a chorale from J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. We look forward to seeing a good turnout for the event and raising a generous sum for the Simon Community.

Choral recently saw the conclusion of another tremendously successful concert series with performances of Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor in the Examination Hall, TCD.

While we are now on a short break, we have a performance of Christmas carols coming up in the near future in aid of the Simon Community. This will take place from 1pm in St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on Saturday 15 December. In order to prepare for this event, we will have a rehearsal on Wednesday 12 December at 7pm in Regent House.

Looking further ahead, Choral will return to normal business on Wednesday 16th January to begin rehearsals for our Hilary Term performances of Brahm’s A German Requiem and Mendelssohn’s Die erste Walpurgisnacht. New members are more than welcome to join the choir at the beginning of the upcoming term.
