2014-15 Programme
The Choral Society is proud to present the programme of its 177th session:
Michaelmas Term
In November 2014, the society will perform two choral works by Bach: Maginificat in D Major (BWV 243) and Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (BWV 140), also known as Sleepers Awake. There will be two performances, both of which will take place in the college’s Public Theatre, our traditional concert venue.
Hilary Term
One of the most popular choral works of all time, Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem will be performed by the Choral Society at the National Concert Hall in March 2015. The society performed the Irish première of this piece in 1876 and most recently sang it in 2011 in a sold out Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
Do you want to be part of this?
