Now that the dust has settled after our tremendously successful Freshers’ Week and Wine Reception, we are only a couple of days away from getting down to the business of singing at our first rehearsal. It will take place in Regent House (above Front Arch) on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Be sure to arrive early as many new members will be queuing to sign up on the night and scores will also need to be distributed. During the rehearsal, we will be looking for members to express their interest in going on the trip to the Messiah from Scratch in the Royal Albert Hall, London on the 28th of November.
As previously outlined, this term’s programme is a Christmas-themed celebration of the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, consisting of Hodie and Fantasia on Christmas Carols. Also, if you didn’t get a chance to sign up to Choral during Freshers’ Week, never worry as you can sign up at the rehearsal on Wednesday night (and remember, no audition is required!). The commitee looks forward to seeing you all there!
